Ethical Dilemmas Police Officers Face on a Daily Basis & Police Community Relations

Event Information: This is our annual ethics meeting. 
Each day police officers stand at the crossroads of making seminal decisions about creating records of arrest and prosecutions.  What are the variables to be considered, how are they weighed and what is the best possible resolution (“BPR”)?  Chief Koval will talk about use of discretion as it applies to ethical decision making.

Time: 3:45 check-in; 4:00 - 6:00 presentation; 6:30 dinner (optional)

Meeting Cost: $50 members; $60 non-members; $30 students, retirees, and unemployed

Meal Options:

  • Mediterranean Grilled Chicken Breast – Rice pilaf, roasted broccoli and cauliflower, saffron cream sauce
  • Pan Roasted Atlantic Salmon – Roast garlic mashed potatoes, glazed vegetables, sun dried tomato and basil cream sauce
  • Beef Bourguignonne – Red wine braised tenderloin, mashed potatoes, pearl onions
  • Vegetarian Entrée – chef's choice

Note: All meals are gluten free. Dessert will be served and will consist of carrot cake, served with toasted pecans, pineapple and cream cheese frosting.
