Event Information: Our speakers will review the common learnings from over 30 PRA®’s being conducted with Wisconsin Manufacturers. The Profit Risk Assessment is a proprietary tool that assesses what impacts streams of profit. They will describe how they assess a value range and then prioritize next steps to both protect then drive additional value.

clRlME3QTlKrVBaTxbhb_temp-T.jpgGeorge Bureau - George serves as VP Consulting for WMEP (Wisconsin Manufacturing Extension Partnership) a non-profit consulting firm focused on small and mid-sized manufacturers in Wisconsin. In this role George is responsible for all consulting operations and the service portfolio (growth, operational excellence, human capital, certifications and automation). Prior to this role, George served as Director of Growth and Certification Services.

Before joining WMEP, George served as principal of Straxios Consulting, which focused on profitably growing businesses through strategy development, deployment, alignment, growth initiatives and cultural change. George has served in various general management and sales & marketing leadership roles in the energy, packaging, consumer products and paper sectors in both a B2B and B2C channels. His core competencies include growth, strategy, customer focus and workforce engagement.

He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Geological Science from Penn State University and an MBA from York College in York, Pennsylvania. George serves as an adjunct professor, teaching corporate strategy and international trade and finance in the Lakeland College MBA program. He has also taught international leadership for Concordia University Wisconsin’s Master of Liberal Arts program and entrepreneurship at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point.

George and his wife are long-time residents of the Neenah area and are the parents of three children. He enjoys travel, tennis, history and following his favorite sports teams, which include the Green Bay Packers and the Penn State Nittany Lions (sorry, Bucky fans). He has served as an assistant Boy Scouts scoutmaster, committee chair for Boy Scouts, president of the Green Bay Junior Gamblers hockey program and president of the Valley Figure Skating Club.

He performs valuation analyses, constructs complex financial models, conducts industry research, and works with clients to create offering materials for potential sell-side and buy-side companies. He identifies the highest potential buyers or sellers, while evaluating comparable companies and relevant transactions to create pitch books and calculations of value.

Throughout the process, Tyler coordinates communications between his client and outside parties, prepares financial schedules, and creates management presentations for meetings between his client and interested strategic and financial organizations. In addition, Tyler establishes and manages electronic data rooms during due diligence to facilitate an efficient and timely process for the success of the transaction.

Prior to joining Taureau Group, Tyler had more than five years of experience as a project engineering manager for Brady Corporation. He is knowledgeable in industrial manufacturing, product design and development, Six Sigma, competitive market analysis, and quality assurance. He was the first member to complete the R&D Leadership & Development program at Brady, which focuses on developing top young talent.
